The details about Antyodaya Train
The first category is known as the Antyodaya. This is an express train that shall be travelling a really long distance. But the unique feature is, it will run completely un-reserved and people shall have the facilities of a superfast train service. This category of train has been introduced for operating in dense routes serving the common people. It has also been mentioned that there shall be two to four more Deen Dayali coaches that shall be added in similar such long distance trains so that people can also travel in long distance trains without pre-reservation. This Deen Dayali feature is going to enhance the carrying capacity of trains. The common people and daily passengers who have to travel long distance for their work and break journeys to reach their office, shall have a lot of convenience due to the addition of this Antyodaya train and the addition of Deen Dayali coaches. The coaches shall also have facility for portable water and a lot of mobile charging points to make the travelling hassle free for the common people. Humsafar-the train for middle class people
The next category is known as Humsafar. This is designed for the middle class people. It will be exclusively a three tiered C train and incorporates optional meals. One thing that is still not known about the Humsafar is, whether this train is reserved or unreserved. According to the estimation of the financial experts, the Humsafar and Tejas (another category) is definitely going to make sure that the cost recovery can be done through the tariff or non-tariff measures.
The future of Indian railways-Tejas
The next category is called Tejas. This is specifically designed for those people who are in a hurry for reaching their destination. If you are looking for India’s next step towards bullet train, then this is the one. This is going to be the fastest train of India attaining the speed of 130 km per hour. Apart from the high speed, it will have a lot of on-board facilities. The Tejas is definitely going to portray India’s future in train travel. UDAY-the train running on business
The last category is known as UDAY. This actually a double Decker coached train. The full form of UDAY is known as the Utkrisht Double Decker Air-conditioned Yatri express. The exact route of this train is not yet disclosed but it has been mentioned that this train shall be introduced into the business routes. The train has the potential for carrying more individuals and this train has increased the potential for carrying capacity of the train by more than 40%.
