AB de Villiers (South Africa)
Well, you can say that he has made so many achievements that can only be broken by a next generation AB de Villiers. He is the one man army of the South African cricket team and the current captain of the ODI squad. After South Africa lost in the 2011 World Cup, he became the next successor of Graeme Smith. Till now, he is known for his great achievements and he is regarded as the best batsman of all time. He has proven several times by dominating the ICC rankings and he is always at the top position of the list. He has set some marvelous records of scoring the fastest fifty, fastest hundred and the fastest hundred and fifty runs. He was also the wicket-keeper of the team and served for several years until Quinton de Kock made his debut. Well, all of these achievements may give him an extra edge over the other two batsmen.
Hashim Amla (South Africa)
Hashim Amla is another talented right-handed South African batsman. He is also a part-time pace bowler of the South African team. Usually, he bats at the third number in a test match and in the case of ODIs; he has opened the South African batting chart for several times. He has also set some beautiful records such as the fastest batsman to reach 2000 runs and the fastest batsman to score 20 ODI hundreds. He is currently the third batsman is the ICC rankings, both in test and ODI matches. He also became the first South African batsman to score a triple century against England in a test match.
