After culture developed in a number of ways, they are not being seen as inferior anymore, but they are not provided equal opportunities like other communities are being provided in India.
Best initiatives to protect entrepreneurs in SC category:
It has been observed by the government of India that there is only less number of entrepreneurs emerging out of the scheduled caste communities. One of the most important reasons for the shortage of entrepreneurs in this category is that they are very often uneducated. Even when they are educated, fearing the lack of fund and support from the majority community, they are putting aside their desire and continue to do what their parents are doing from the past. This is not a good thing for development of the nation.
To make sure that they are being motivated in a better manner, government of India has decided to introduce Venture Capital Fund scheme, which will directly benefit the best entrepreneurs in the SC category.

Some of the main features of the scheme are as follows:

- To develop new business out of new ideas and innovation that will make the country prosperous and develop more employment opportunities in local communities
- To empower financial stability of SC community by promoting young brains and talents with sufficient funds to initiate a new journey in their life
- To generate direct and indirect employment opportunities within the SC communities and make them self dependent in all aspects
Uplifting backward communities:
One of the fears that are present among most of the entrepreneurs among SC community is that they doubt that they may not be treated properly if they are going to apply for loan in banks or financial centers. In most of the cases, they will be bounced back stating the reason that they don’t have enough security for receiving funds or the concerned authorities will directly inform to them that they are not eligible for receiving funds.
As Venture Capital Fund scheme focuses only for those people from scheduled caste and backward communities, there is no necessity for entrepreneurs from those communities to get concerned about anything. If the project that they are taken will progress well and contribute something to the society, then it is very easy for those entrepreneurs to receive funds from Venture Capital Fund scheme. Nearly 50 entrepreneurs from SC and backward communities have been benefited by the scheme so far.
The launch of Venture Capital Fund Scheme for Scheduled Caste would boost talented youths from specific caste to get involve in entrepreneurship.
