It is a form that you need to use while paying the fees for applying for any job with State Bank of India. You need to manually carry the form to your nearest SBI branch and submit the same with the total money amount quoted on the form.
You may ask, isn’t there a system paying the fees online? You are absolutely right! You can pay the fee online. Well, not everyone wants to! There can be several reasons why many people do not want to use the online payment option. First, they may not be comfortable using the online system because they are old-fashioned. They have always used challans to make payments. Second, some people may be concerned about security. Phishing is growing at an unprecedented rate and the risk of losing financial data during online transactions is always there no matter what kind of security system is put in place. So, how to download SBI Challan Online?
In case you are applying for a job with SBI, you will know that application system has been taken to the cloud. The only way to apply for SBI jobs is to apply online. This has greatly reduced administrative costs for SBI and has also helped the bank to reduce paper usage significantly. Also, we cannot deny that online system of application is far more effective because there is no risk of the application getting misplaced somewhere during transit.
So, if you are applying for a job, you need to go to the ‘Careers’ section of SBI Portal. Can’t locate the link? Fine! It happens. Just click here! From there, all you have to do is apply online. Be meticulous about the application. One wrong information or one missing information can simply disqualify you. Once the application form is filled, upload all documents in the format as mentioned by the bank and submit.
Once you submit your application, you will receive a registration number, which you can use as your login ID and you will also get a password. Both of these will be sent to you through email. The email ID you provide during application will be used for sending the details.
Once the application is completed, the online system will generate the Challan Form. This form will be pre-populated with all necessary details. Download it and take a print out. In case the challan is not pre-populated, download the blank form and fill it up manually.
Now, take the printed challan and head for the nearest bank branch. Pay the amount and in 2-3 days you will get a notification SMS about the successful payment. You will also receive an email for the same.
