CarWale.com vs CarDekho.com vs CarTrade.com
Buying used cars in India has become quite easy now. You simply plan to see a used car for yourself and all you need to do further is visit any of these websites and choose a car that would suit your budget and specificity. As a matter of fact, each of these three websites is quite comparable to each other since they are competing neck to neck for the same segment and same customers.
However, there may be few things better on one of them and the other may be good for some other experience. It is all a matter of personal choice and convenience which one you would like. In this article, we would try to bring an honest comparison between the three car sale portals.
The opening page of Cardekho.com is simple and convenient. While most of the page you see covers the flash or various new ranges of car, a search option is given at the left side through which you can filter your search and see a list of options based on your search.
You can search the cars for you through either your budget or through the model of cars you want to look for. There is however, a limitation on the search option. It does not provide enough options for filtering.
Some other features available on the portal are on road price, EMI calculator, Road test, car valuation, loans, user reviews and offers. All of them may or may not be so relevant for you, however, it’s always good to have them there.
The range of cars covered on the portal are diverse and you can find Maruti to Audi to Volvo, all listed there within the budget you would be looking for.
The tabs provide you the option to look for new and used cars, through which you can list or search through your city and location. There are also two useful tabs for comparison and updates on news and reviews from the automobile industry.
The welcome page of carwale.com is stuffed with more information that you may need with a smaller fonts and icons on the homepage. On the other hand, the homepage itself provides options to search your cars through their make, budget and body type. This is something better than other portals. You can also check out the on-road prices of the cars you are looking for.
You can see through the most popular cars that are available on the portal with their respective prices listed down below. This way, you could make out within seconds, if you are not yet sure which one would suit your specific budget.
What is different with Carwale.com is that the homepage itself contains most of the links and information you would like to know including the news and announcements from the automobile industry.
At the bottom of the page, it also covers the ‘Tips and Advice’, which is certainly an useful information part of the website.
Cartrade.com is much more into used cars, with its homepage itself showing a list of used cars at various locations of India. The homepage looks clean and nothing much is cumbersome of the welcome page. You can search across using your location and the kind of car you are looking for through the main search options provided on the center of the page.
You can also notice the popular used cars listed on the website with their price range mentioned against the models. The bar at the bottom provides you the links to find new or used cars as well as list your car for selling.
There are two options available through which you can filter your search, i.e. through your budget and through your location. One of the limitations by using the search option through city is that not all cities are listed on the homepage.
The ‘Satisfied customers’ section on the homepage makes the website look promising and you can read across experiences of people who have bought and sold their cars through cartrade.com
